What an evening. I photographed a wedding in the Smokey Mountains last night and the bride and groom were married on horseback. They were very nice and the wedding was beautiful. I will have several more photos to share of Sam and Cheryl's wedding, but This one looks like a movie set.

This photograph was taken immediately following the wedding when Cheryl and Sam tied the horses up after the ceremony was completed. The fog on the mountains and the clear skies for a few hours let all of their plans come together. It began raining again when we were all leaving.

Liz contacted me several months ago about her upcoming wedding and you could hear the excitement.  They have known each other for several years and graduated college together at Murray State University in western Kentucky.  Greg is from the Murray area and they were planning the wedding from 3 hours away.  The church was a beautiful old church in the middle of the historic town and the garden behind the church was a nice place to break the ice with the groom and groomsmen.  The wedding went without a hitch and the photos came out wonderful.

The reception was at Liz's aunt's farm and it was something.  They had a large tent, wine bar, food everywhere and a DJ with a Dance floor setup in the grass.  It was a great event and I am very happy for Greg and Liz.  Thank you for trusting me to capture and save your memories and letting me witness your wedding.  I wish you the very best.
